In need of a night out but just can’t find a baby sitter you can trust? bubble, the babysitting service for finding a recommended sitter in your area, is launching across Surrey this October.

The babysitting service has boomed in the capital with more than 10,000 parents and sitters currently using the app, scoring 9.3/10 on Trustpilot.  Now, the company is venturing out of the capital for the first time, bringing its service to parents in Guildford, Woking, Godalming, and Croydon.

Parents in need of childcare can find a sitter within 43 seconds, by using the app’s “Express Book” feature.

bubble’s unique selling point is it’s approach to trust. The app uses social and community data to connect parents to the local babysitters that their friends know, use and love. On top of this, the app lets parents read the reviews left by other mums and dads on the babysitter before booking them, and every sitter on bubble is also cleared through an online identity and background check before their profile goes live.

The app also makes light work of payment, so there’s no need to have cash to pay the sitter at the end of the session – which is tracked to the minute on the app.

Founders Ari Last and Adrian Murdock have teamed up with Surrey She.Space, a network of talented and influential women in Surrey, to roll-out the service.

Ari Last commented: “As parents we know that when it comes to finding a brilliant babysitter for our kids, nothing is as powerful as a personal connection or recommendation. Our aim with bubble is to make finding trusted childcare – any time, anywhere – an easy and fun experience.”

“What’s really excited us about how the app’s been used in London is that it’s not just helping parents with their social lives, but with their work lives too. bubble is providing parents – working mothers especially – with the flexible childcare solution they need in order to get back to, and get on with work. We’re excited about rolling out in Surrey and we’ve got a great local partner in she.space to help us do that.”

Liana Wilson-Fricker, Co Founder of She.Space said: “At She.Space we work with, and speak to, brilliant, entrepreneurial Mums every day who struggle with the issue of finding someone to look after their kids. Which is why we were so keen to work with bubble in bringing the app to Surrey. It’s an amazing tool for finding trusted, affordable and flexible childcare, and can help parents better juggle both our work life and social life too.”

bubble caught the attention of major businesses earlier this year with founders from Photobox, Betfair and boohoo.com among high-profile investors.
