Theo Paphitis opens new Boux Avenue Shop in Kingston

Former Dragon’s Den star and serial entrepreneur Theo Paphitis brought his typical charm to the official opening of Kingston’s newest lingerie boutique at the Bentall’s Shopping Centre.
Having previously turned around the fortunes of rival lingerie brands La Senza and Contessa, Boux Avenue
represents his latest successful foray into the retail and online lingerie sector, and today the businessman celebrated opening his twenty fifth UK shop.
“All of my businesses are specialist retail businesses. We know this sector really well and we sold La Senza in 2006 – a long time ago. But we’d had the lingerie experience and so we asked ourselves if we could design the ultimate lingerie shop, what would it look like? We thought let’s go for it, it’s either going to be a quick failure or a good, long success. And this is it: store number twenty five.
"We’ve created what is a luxurious, grand, opulent service, that’s affordable, in a sector that is very personal. Boux Avenue is a service that’s all about the customer – where the changing rooms have three different light settings, the concierge service, the wrapping; it’s all about the experience.”
With another Surrey store located at the Friary Centre, Guildford, Boux Avenue blends nostalgic and contemporary design with traditional service, superior fit and outstanding quality in a modern and stylish setting.
